To make responsible mentoring accessible to everyone!
Who are the mentees?
Every mentor that signs up to the course will be supported in finding, screening, preparing and mentoring a protégé. Therefore, every mentee could be in a very different location, age or work sector.
Who are the mentors?
Anyone who wishes to mentor, but is not able to (or prefers not to) join one of our existing projects. They will be people who commit to working through the one-year mentoring course, accessing the theory through online presentation, and working through the practical learning phases of committing to a mentoring relationship, receiving online support as well.
What is the nature of the mentoring sessions?
Mentoring matches will still meet for 33 sessions in a one-on-one, face-to-face approach under the mentor’s own direction.
Benefits for Mentees
Mentees’ resilience levels will be built, including their ability to trust, become competent, take responsibility and live with purpose.
Benefits for Mentors
Course participants will be trained and led to grow into qualified LifeXchange mentors, having a thorough ability and understanding of mentoring that will suffuse all other areas of their lives.
